Connecting people with God

We Believe…

  • the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
  • in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His Vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years (John 1:1)
  • in the blessed hope—the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming
  • the only means of being cleansed from sin is though repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (John 14:6)
  • regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Titus 3:5)
  • in water baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19)
  • the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (I Peter 2:24)
  • the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it
  • in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16-25)
  • in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Revelation 20:11-15)

Core Values

Biblical Authority: We believe that the Bible is our ultimate source of authority in faith and practice. We believe that lives are changed through the preaching and the teaching of God’s word. (Isaiah 40:8; Acts 2:42-43)

Prayer: Both private and corporate prayer is essential for the spiritual growth of individuals and the church. We seek to teach and practice prayer in every area of the church. (Matthew 7:7-11; Acts 2:42)

Spirit Empowerment: We seek to fulfill God’s purpose for our church through the power of the Holy Spirit. All of our actions are fruitless without the Spirit’s power that Jesus promised to His followers. (Acts 1:8 Zechariah 4:6)

Community: God created his church to be a body of believers that support and strengthen each other in all areas. We strive to build loving relationships that permeate every aspect of church life. (John 13:34-35; Acts 2:44-46)

Evangelism: We believe that God commands us to share the good news of Christ with those around us so that they might come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We will strive to create individual believers and a church that are Christ’s ambassadors to a lost world. (Acts 2:47; Matthew 28:19)

Discipleship: Jesus commands His church to make fully devoted followers of Christ. We are committed to helping people develop a life of godliness in all areas of their lives. (Matt. 28:19-20; Philippians 1:6)

Relevance: We strive to be culturally relevant while maintaining God’s eternal truth. Our desire is to communicate the good news of Jesus in a way that our culture can understand. (John 1:14; I Corinthians 9:19-23)

Excellence: God expects us to offer our best to Him, since He offered his best in giving us His Son. We desire to offer only our best in church ministry to honor His name and inspire people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6-14)

Compassion: God desires that we take care of both the spiritual and physical needs of people. We seek to minister to those who are in need both within and outside the church. (Lamentations 3:19-24; Matthew 25:35-40)

Ministry Involvement: God has uniquely created and spiritually gifted every member of this church. We seek to equip all our members to effectively minister in their gifts and God-given abilities. (Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-13)
