<p>You are invited to a <strong>baby shower</strong> for Matthew Kvaale and his proud parents, Ed and Shannon on Sunday, May 20 at 1:00 PM following the fellowship dinner.  They are registered at Walmart and Target.</p>
<p>Our Wednesday night classes will conclude <strong>May 16 with a BBQ potluck at 6:00 PM</strong>.  Rangers and Missionettes will then have their Awards night in the Community Room at 7:00 PM.  Adult and Youth groups will meet as scheduled.</p>
<p><strong>Wednesdays this Summer:</strong>  We will not have a formal Wednesday night class.  Instead, we are encouraging people to start and/or join Life Groups.  Life groups are small group that do life together—like the Men’s Wild at Heart Breakfast, the Mom’s Group, or the Thriving Group.  If you would like to start one, please see Pastor John.</p>

<p><strong>Sunday, May 6 we will be honoring Jeremiah and Heidi Johnson.</strong>  Jeremiah has ministered as our unpaid Pastoral Intern the 2011-12 school year and will be graduating from Oak Hills Christian College May 5.  We would like to bless them with a love offering as they begin their ministry full-time in the Grand Forks area—both at the Rescue Mission and at our church plant in East Grand Forks.</p>
<p>Mark your calendars:  A <strong>Bridal Shower</strong> has been planned for Eryn Mord Saturday, May 12 in the Community Room.  Ben Galloway and Eryn are getting married June 1 and are registered at Walmart.</p>

<p>Parents, the next two Wednesdays, the <strong>Youth Group will be talking about Purity</strong>.  We are blessed to have Jamie Clague, an abstinence speaker, share with our Middle School students Wednesday, Feb. 8 and with our High School students Wednesday, Feb.15.  High School students will meet &amp; go get ice cream Feb. 8, and Middle Schoolers will meet &amp; go get ice cream Feb. 15 during the other groups’ talks.</p>
