Sunday, May 6 we will be honoring Jeremiah and Heidi Johnson.  Jeremiah has ministered as our unpaid Pastoral Intern the 2011-12 school year and will be graduating from Oak Hills Christian College May 5.  We would like to bless them with a love offering as they begin their ministry full-time in the Grand Forks area—both at the Rescue Mission and at our church plant in East Grand Forks.

Parents, the next two Wednesdays, the Youth Group will be talking about Purity.  We are blessed to have Jamie Clague, an abstinence speaker, share with our Middle School students Wednesday, Feb. 8 and with our High School students Wednesday, Feb.15.  High School students will meet & go get ice cream Feb. 8, and Middle Schoolers will meet & go get ice cream Feb. 15 during the other groups’ talks.

Missionettes in grades K – 6 will be going sledding this Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.  Girls should dress warmly and bring a sled if they have one (we have extras).  Contact Erica Hubert (333-3550) or Sandee Nattrass (218-835-5725) with any questions.

The Rangers are having two fundraisers to raise money for Camporama, a national Ranger camp for boys ages 9 – 17 in Missouri this July.  Registration is $275.

Royal Rangers Yukon Sled-a-rama departs Friday at 4:00 and returns Sunday at 2:00.  Cost is $35, and boys should dress to be outside!!!

Crossroads is hosting Servants of Shelter (SOS) February 5 – 12.   We need teams of people to volunteer in a variety of areas:  set-up, supervising 4 hour shifts, bringing meals, washing bedding, tear-down, etc.  We also need donations of sack lunch supplies and bus tokens.

Congratulations to Ed Kvaale, whom was re-elected to serve on the church board for another three years.
